Just doing a quick and dirty check, this one at New Egg, is $10 dollars more, and not as good as the one, you posed.
You have a better processor, and a bigger hard drive, 1000 LAN vs 100LAN, and the addition of n security on the wireless, at a glance.
Edit: It also supports 8 gig RAM vs 4 GIG for the New Egg one.
I consider New Egg a pretty good bench mark, so yes, it looks pretty good for the price.

    Newegg.com - lenovo G550(2958-XFU) NoteBook Intel Celeron 900(2.2GHz) 15.6" Wide XGA 2GB Memory DDR3 1066 160GB HDD 5400rpm DVD±R/RW Intel GMA 4500M

Edit: for the price of DDR3, I'd put another 2 gigs of RAM in it though.
It has a 64 bit operating system, mite as well take advantage of it.
I believe 2 gig is considered min for 7.
    Newegg.com - Computer Hardware,Memory,Laptop Memory,204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM,DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500),2GB

    But it is Best Buy.

Basic uses (Web, Email, Video/Music, Flash/Browser games, etc) its a good laptop, for 3D Gaming (traditional PC Gaming), its got a weak video graphics chip.

But for anything else really its not bad for the price.

(in case the OP is another person looking for a cheap gaming laptop, since we've had so many of these posts lately, trying to dissuade them from buying something they'd regret)

But like I said, for most basic uses its a good buy.
