Hi, well i'm new to the forum and i have a problem. First of all i own a Vaio R505TL and the fan that runs it gets annoying and loud. I know that it needs the fan for the laptop to keep cool, but is there any other way that i can swap it out?
to get to those fans you will have to open the case, and i think if your not a sony tech, you will void your warranty if you open it up. have you called up sony and asked for advice and see what they say?
actually i think i have already voided my warranty b/c i ahve already opened up the case to install more memory. I have talked to sony, however, they did not give me any kind of suggestion. They say it wasn't a tech problem.
