If you installed the webcam driver by downloading from Acer site , then the most likely you've downloaded a wrong one . That assuming the wc is good and working and you've chosen the driver's right system .. All Laptop models come with different manufacturers label .. In your case it could be a confusion between the chicony or suyin webcam drivers ..

already try both suyin and chicony...and also liteon.
but all of them ask me to switch on the device...
i already press Fn + F5 key but still cannot detect the camera...
is there any button i can press to switch on the camera?
FYI i'm using windows 7 ultimate 32 bit version...

It seems the webcam wherever it is , chicony , suyin or lite on did took its driver since you tried them all . what's missing now is the program which usually come with the original dvd's . I think it's the crystal eye webcam application ... Do you have the original dvd's ?

i lost the original dvd...
will search for it again later...
is there any other way for me to solve this problem?

Thanks ... Well , I had such problem once and i copied the application from another Acer and it worked although i wasn't certain if it will .
