Laptop Final Choice
Finally after lots of investigation on what would be the top of the line laptops for my $1000 budget. i compiled a list each with my taste and what i would find my use of it.(gaming COD, WoW, Fifa 12, etc. + heavy use of other programs)
Please feel free to comment and tell me which shouldn't i have on that list, in other words which of these are crap-and why. (and only if you really believe there is a much better option for the same budget, feel free to add)
Laptop Brand and Series Price
Macbook pro 13.3" $1,199
HP Pavillion dv6t quad edition $899*
Alienware m14x $1,199
Toshiba Qosmio x775-q7270 $1,095
Asus G53SW-a1 $1,199
Asus G53SX-a1 $1,199 HP
ENVY 14 $999*
Dell XPS 15 $799*
Dell XPS 15z $999
Acer Aspire TimelineX 5830 TG-6402 $799
Toshiba Satellite P755-S5269 $999
Samsung RF511-S04 $949
*Custom upgrade may be necessary
two things to notice here, i wasn't sure too choose between the two Asus G53 and the Dell XPS 15`s
PS: Any Recommendations on the best online sites to buy laptops, asides the provider website and NewEgg or AmazonLast edited by adrumm; October 3rd, 2011 at 04:20 PM.

Instead of a few people here going out and searching for the specs to those machines it'd be a lot easier if you posted them here.... We can't tell if you chose additional addons etc....
Imagine a world where dogs took bad owners to the pound...

I would be happy to do that but, since there are 12 options i think itll be to much, first a clean sweep of any of these that are no good

Not to be rude but you posted about this a few times and we answered your questions. Again, anything with integrated graphics should be removed from the list right off the bat (ie the macbook). In all honesty anything with a core i series processor and min 4gb of ram will be decent for your needs. The only deciding factor really is the style of the laptop and the graphics card.
