Question Need help choosing right laptop.

I am after buying a new laptop and one thing that i would like is the ability to playback smooth 1080p video on my TV, i came across the 14" acer timeline x4830t because preferably i'd like a smaller laptop and this one looked perfect but im wondering if the integrated graphics will be capable of playing Full hd videos nicely on the tv, ideally i would like to keep to a budget of £500, but when i came across the 15.6" dell inspiron 15r with intel core i5 and a 1GB dedicated graphics memory i wondered if it would be worth stretchin my budget to £550 as the acer has the intel core i3 and integrated intel hd graphics, would this give me better picture quality and smoother playback as opposed to the acer? Only problem i have with the dell is it looks quite big and the design isnt particulary great but it will mostly be used around home so wouldnt really be a problem.
If anyone has any other notebooks to recommend aswell please do so.
    Thanks

    Hi Shocker1,

I would NOT buy anything with integrated graphics if you want HD to play smoothly. The Dell has an option to upgrade to discrete graphics, but that's going to be a bit more. The i5 processor is either dual or quad core but it's not going to make much of a difference for streaming video.

We've purchased two Lenovos recently and I think they generally make a better quality laptop than Dell.

Ah so i need integrated graphics then. I looked at the lenovo range of laptops and struggled to find a laptop with similar specs to the dell they seemed a bit more expensive. Also i would rather have the intel i5 processor as i often use quite cpu intensive applications and it would be a great help. I am doubtful in buying a dell though as in the reviews on there website there are quite alot of people complaining of bad customer services and problems they've had but thing with reviews is alot of people only write them when something is wrong. Thanks
