Unable to get cloud print to work with my Samsung Galaxy Tab2 7.0

I added the app to both my PC and my android tablet but for some reason, I can't get past printing the test page. Every time I want the android to print something else, e.g., a recipe from the web, I get nothing. What am I doing wrong? I have the PC on Chrome and am using Chrome on the tablet. Any help would be appreciated

Have you looked over the cloud print help topics to make sure you have it setup right?

What printer are you using? One that is cloud print ready or not? Did you register your printer with your Google account? Are you signed into your Google account on the tablet when you are trying to print?

I am using an HP Offficejet Pro 8000 wireless. It is not cloud ready. I did register it with my Google account (or at least it shows up as my printer on the Google Cloud app). I have been signed into my Google account every time I tried to print.

Any idea as to why I'm not able to print anything except the Cloud test page?

I've never had to setup cloud print on an android device before but assuming you have all your software up to date and you can print the test page then everything should be working.
Does the printer show as an option when you try to print from the tablet?
Does it show on your computer and print fine from there?
When you try to print a page does it do anything at all? Give errors or anything?

Well, lo and behold, I didn't do anything different but gave it one last try last night around 1:00 a.m. and for some reason it printed the same page I have tried to print for the last 3 days.

I tried again this morning and it worked again. Maybe it takes Google some time to acknowledge the new android in its system.
