| HP and Dell Laptop Dilemma
Today at my Micro Center shop, I found this very attractive laptop with a Pentium 4 2.0GHz Mobile Processor, 512MB DDR SDRAM, 40GB Hard Disk Drive, Windows XP Home, and an ATI Radeon M6P Video Card with a DVD/CDRW Combo Drive plus SoundBlaster Sound. I have a question: Should I consider buying an HP Laptop just because of its price? Or should I consider a Dell Laptop Instead?
Other brands are welcome, but keep in mind that my choice might lie between HP or Dell.
Also, I need to know if an ATI Radeon M6P Integrated Laptop Video compares to other laptop video technologies or not. |

What's wrong with HP?
I have a Pavilion ze5170--2.0 Ghz, 512 RAM, 40 GB...and it's great. |

Before you pull the trigger, check these out. Nothing against Dells, but these guys make some industrial-strength laptops at great prices. Sager Notebook

i was told by a fellow tech at work that a recent review on laptops scored the HP higher than ibm, dell, compaq, sony, etc.
frankly if the price was very attractive on the HP and it sported all the features you were looking for, go for it. hp makes solid equipment. for that matter, dell & ibm are also good... |
