I just received my Sager 5620 today and I love it the speed is unbelievable , I can run Lotus,Ms works and AutoCad and be online at the same time. This thing is a work horse I love It. Compaq and Dell don't even have anything close to this. I shopped online for quite awhile before deciding to buy I used www.royalcumpter.com and saved over $150.00 versus www.powernotebook.com. Powernotebook appears cheaper but by the time you add and operating system and shipping and pay with a credit card the prices are astronomically high, not that I don't trust them but wiring someone cash seems a little risky!!! |

Hmm, just looked at the specks and they seem to be great, but 9.6 lbs with battery is a back breaker.
Also my biggest fear would be the heat. The back and the sides look like they are made of plastic (which brings up the problem of durability) and we all know how plastic reacts with high heat.
My friend bought a Sager a while back and it did not feel very durable, but they might have changed that over the year.
I will say that it looks good on paper, but can it stand up in the world? (not talking only performace here, look at battery, durability, heat problems, etc.)

First of all, I am tiny, and I don't have a problem carrying it around. Secondly, I thought it might have somewhat of a heat issue as most of my laptops in the past have (I've had Dell, IBM, CTX -ugh, and Toshiba.) To my amazement it remains incredibly cool. The only thing I don't like is that the battery power is slim to none. I travel on business a lot and I get maybe an hours worth, which typically isn't even an entire flight. Though, for the programs I'm running, I don't expect a whole lot more. I've had my 5620 for 3 months now and I love it. |

It will give you *almost* twice the battery life out of your Sager. The 2nd battery goes in the quick release bay that comes standard with a floppy (you can easily swap out the floppy drive and throw it in). You can order it after purchasing the notebook at any time.

I own a Sager 5620 and it only goes 1 hour in one battery. That suck!
I prefer Mobile CPU. Last longer! |

I take back what I said earlier about the weight. For commuting to work it's fine, but if you're doing any travelling I wouldn't suggest it. |
