dell inspiron 4000?

Question
dell inspiron 4000?

i have a inpiron 4000 with no network card. i just went to office depot and saw a linksys 10/100 for $30 and planning to buy it
but i dont knoe if the dell have a standard tpye ll pcmcia slot, anyone knoes?

Not sure if it'll work or not but that's a really good price for a network card of that type...

well, my inspiron4100 has two type II slots that can take either 3.3 or 5V cards. (they also double up as a type III)
I suppose the 4000 is the same chassis -- I'd be very surprised if it wasn't.
wish i could get NICs for that price here (uk)

That'd be a good price here in the states too... Although I don't have a laptop and don't shop much for lappy components we pay around $70 for them at work. We're probably paying too much for them though.. :-)
