How to Interface USB Devices to Laptop with No USB / CardBus Support

Hi there,
I was wondering whether anyone had a solution for this problem,
I need to connect a USB Device to a IBM PI 166Mhz Laptop (Thinkpad 560E) It does not come with a USB support, neither does it support CardBus (32Bit PCMCIA Cards) It Supports 16 Bit PCMCIA Cards(Type I, II & III) , and has Serial / Paralell Ports.

Can anyone think of a way / suggest a HW provider who has products for my problem ?. I Find that there are USB 1.1 and 2.0 PCMCIA Cads, but they are all 32 Bit (Cardbus) Cards.
