What are you booting off of; cd, floppy, or hard drive. If it's a hard drive - use a boot cd or floppy. If its a cd or floppy, Try anouther boot disk, one you know works.
Also reset the Bios... they can crap out. |
Ive tryed booting from cds and floppys, all of which I know work. I have tryed reinstalling redhat but all that happens is a blinking dash in the upper left corner, and when I try installing windoze it gives me that memory error. The guy I talked to said something about linux allowing you to do more with your computer than windoze allows, and that something happened and my hdd basically turning it into a bottomless pit. I cant get into the BIOS, at the startup screen when the Toshiba logo comes up under that it says press F2 to enter setup or press <C> to boot from CD I press F2 and nothing happens and same thing when I press <C> |
