HELP!!! I think I fried my lappy hard drive

Ok I have a Tosh 1735 Satellite. It originally came with Windoze ME, I have since put RedHat 7.2 on it. It needed a new LCD and FL inverter, but needed windoze put back on. So when I went to reinstall ME; once I got to the remove all files from the non DOS OS I get this error:

Unrecoverable Error: Insufficient Memory, press enter to quit setup.

Also RedHat no longer runs and I can't run fdisk either.

I called the warranty place to ask about the screen and the new problem and the guy I spoke to said that I had fried my hdd. From what I said does it sound like I did or did something else happen?

Please let know if you need more info. Thanx

Umm not much info here, but I don't see anything to alarm me about the hard drive in that error. Looks like a boot disk error. What are you booting off of; cd, floppy, or hard drive. If it's a hard drive - use a boot cd or floppy. If its a cd or floppy, Try anouther boot disk, one you know works.
Also reset the Bios... they can crap out.

Ive tryed booting from cds and floppys, all of which I know work. I have tryed reinstalling redhat but all that happens is a blinking dash in the upper left corner, and when I try installing windoze it gives me that memory error. The guy I talked to said something about linux allowing you to do more with your computer than windoze allows, and that something happened and my hdd basically turning it into a bottomless pit. I cant get into the BIOS, at the startup screen when the Toshiba logo comes up under that it says press F2 to enter setup or press <C> to boot from CD I press F2 and nothing happens and same thing when I press <C>
