as above, ACER 502T laptop. i got it from a friend, the lcd panel was bad he said, so i said hmm ill take it, hooked it up to my spare 17", and it worked so i knew it wasnt the video card or anything, so i then looked in to opening it up and checking the lcd's connection, everything in snug.. well i then turned on my really bright light on my bed, turned the monitor on the laptop right towards the light, and, it is faint, but you can see the windows boot screen when its loading, faintly. so i tried turning up the brightness and/or contrast with the "FN" key and the arrow keys, nope.. anyone have any ideas? i dont wanna buy a new lcd, too much, and i wouldnt wanna put it in myself. thanks to anyone with ideas!
