Toshiba Satellite 5105-S50

For those of you who owns a Toshiba Satellite 5105-S50. I am having
trouble accessing my SD card slot. I have downloaded the latest
driver for WinXP.

Everytime I insert my SD card the slot flashes. I try accessing the
drive under drive Removable Disk D: and receive an error "Please
insert a disk."

Is there another way of accessing this drive?

One more thing, I also have a SmartMedia card slot. Is this slot
accessed through drive D:?

Please help!!!

S50 isn't a valid model number. In any case, check your BIOS to make sure that the drive is enabled. If that fails, then you may have a faulty drive. You should bring it to the attention of the place you purchased it from, and if you purchased a service plan from them, they can fix it.
