Hey guys,
Just wondering how many people here have a PDA?...whether for work or play...and if so have they made you more organised?
Oh, also, what platform do you have - Palm or Pocket PC?
Cheers. |

i have one thats a palm pilot w/ os 3 on it... but its embedded in my cell phone... kyrocera 6035 i think? dont remember...
but its a nice thing to have to write notes with or phone numbers on...
me all i have is the touchpad... sooo its kind of an annoyance actually... but if you get a keyboard attachment for one i think youd love the recsourcefullness... plus when youre bored... pull up a card game, ect!

a friend of mine bought himself a palm. in the beginning he used it a lot because he had paid so much money for it.
he has not been using it fo a long time now though and had a couple of his friends be mad at him because he had highly recommended it to everybody at first and one or two likewise bought a palm, considering it a big waste of money now.
since i carry around a cellphone with me all the time, i got the ericssont39m which has a small organizer built in plus it's a tri-band, looks cooler and is smaller than a pda. |

I've got a PocketPC and I use it frequently for its calendar and to a lesser extent the contacts. I've got a wireless card for it, but only a few buildings around here have a wireless network for me to use it to get email, chat, or browse the web.
I was sure happy to have it, though, when my hard drive died and I was without a computer for almost a week. |

I think if you have to think too hard about whether to get a PDA or not / or whether you need one or not, you probably don't need one.
