How large is the gap in performance between a 4200RPM and 5400 RPM drive? Is it large enough to warrant $79 (from Dell's website)? This is going to be about 60 work/40 gaming laptop use. WC3, CS.
On Toshiba's website (in the mobile hard drive section), they claim a 15% gain in performance from the 40GB 4200 rpm hard drive to the 40GB 5400rpm hard drive.
