Overclocking App for Palm Zire 71
Has anyone seen a program that can overclock the Palm Zire 71?

I'll try to get Afterburner. One program I tried did not like the ARM porcessor, only worked on Intel chips.
Thanks,

I just tried Afterburner and it does not really support the Zire. The CPU runs at 144 MHz and the highest setting Afterburner had was 37 MHz. I guess I would save battery power ;-)

is there really going to be any benifit to OCing that thing? or is it more just to say that you did it?
I don't like signatures.

Well, I notice it is slugish when I am playing a game while listening to MP3s. I know it will have an adverse effect on battery life, but I can live with that.

I finaly found the answer. Lightspeed works, but my Zire 71 only takes mild overclocking. Hopefully others will have better luck.

TBH, Sony's situation seems a bit murky too, IMO, but since they phrased all their used-game talk so positively I've given them the BOTD and assume used games will just work. Microsoft has kind of...
