    quick question

    will a socket 370 P3 800 heatsink/fan work on a socket A duron 1.1?

    I would try it.

    I've got quite a few HSF's that I've used on both AMD Athlons and Intel PIII's. Pay close attention to the temps at first though, you know how flippin' hot those AMD's run.

    yeah i know, whats the average temp for a duron 1.1?

    also its a cheapy cooler master heatsink/fan...

    you should be able to google the watt. output, and figure out from that if your current fan will work

    Those durons stay pretty cool. I had a duron 1gig and I've used a generic socket a/370 hsf on it. Stays around 24c with it. Watch your temp though but I think it'll work.
