will a socket 370 P3 800 heatsink/fan work on a socket A duron 1.1?

I would try it.
I've got quite a few HSF's that I've used on both AMD Athlons and Intel PIII's. Pay close attention to the temps at first though, you know how flippin' hot those AMD's run.This signature intentionally left blank.

yeah i know, whats the average temp for a duron 1.1?
also its a cheapy cooler master heatsink/fan...I'd rather be driving a titelist

you should be able to google the watt. output, and figure out from that if your current fan will work

Those durons stay pretty cool. I had a duron 1gig and I've used a generic socket a/370 hsf on it. Stays around 24c with it. Watch your temp though but I think it'll work.
