ViaHardWare Monitor, Motherboard monitor. What to trust?

I've got a Coolermaster EP5-6I11 (lapped) on a 1.2gig T-Bird and I idle around 42c and Load at about 50c. Those seem like nice temps to me...

SickPup404, Just wondering is you fan blowing onto the heatsink and was it like that when you got it?

If I remember right (it's been since May 2001), I think it's blowing down into the H/S. Came that way, and I figured since the case side fan blows on it, may as well keep it going the same way instead of working against each other...

Another point in regards to your original post, I would err on the side of caution about temp readings. If item A says 30c and item B says 35c, I'd say the temp was 35c...

One more thing, did you mis-spell your ID when you made it??? Chaotic vs Choatic?

Yeah I got looking around my the other day and found out it came blowing into the heatsink.

NDC , can you sent a copy of your VHM version 2.04. My VHM work in my PC winXP before I upgrade and reformat my PC. Now when I try installing it it always say no drivers found. Thanks
