SDR Ram & DDR Ram 'the 'ol switcherooo'

Can SDRam and DDRam be switched also does DDR have double the accesing time compared to SD Ram.

No they are not compatible. And for the sake of simple explaination DDR can do twice as much per clock cycle as SD RAM

I read or heard some where that a MB can be configured to accpet both.
Is that ture.

Only if the mobo has separate slots for both. The Sticks of Ram physically different.

Yes, what nunyadam said. The two are electrically incompatible (different voltages) and a board will not boot with both types inserted.
