Abit VA-10 help

OK here's the problem. I bought a VA-10 board just to fill a M-ATX case I had lyin' around. The board posts and runs fine,,,outside of the case...It's mounted to a removable tray. If I remove it from the case (still on tray) it will post,,,but upon inserting tray and all into case and securing it with screws,,,it will not send any signal to monitor. PS is a 350W Turbo-Cool (P4 approved). I cannot use nylon/plastic stand-offs for mounting,,,the tray has "dimples" that have threaded holes and the m'board is screwed directly to these raised dimples. I've tried to "isolate" using fiber washers, but that didn't work.....Any ideas anyone? AND I cannot get on the Abit -USA site either...tractors

Well, since it's working fine out of the case but not fine in it, I can almost guarantee you it's shorting somewhere. Let me clear something up; the mobo is screwed to the removable tray and then the tray attaches to the chasis, right? Something that might work is taking pieces of electrical tape (masking, duct, and scotch tape, and shipping lables should work as well) and placing them over the dimples in the tray and then puncturing them with a pencil and remounting the mobo. Other than that, the only thing I could suggest at the moment would be to check all the screws used to mount the mobo to the tray and make sure none of them have heads bigger than the "doughnuts" (the metal rings around the holes) on the mobo.

Oh, and the abit-usa.com site is apparently down for everybody.
