SigmaTel Driver (AC97) not Installing on XP
Hi I just bought a M6ne notebook not long ago and started installing my drivers on the machine aftering installing Windows XP Pro (SP2).
When I tried to install the SigmaTel C-Major Driver the computer would just hang and not install.
I have been trying every way to install the driver, such as going to device manager and installing it from there but it would hang when it tries to copy Ksolay.ax (which doesnt exist on my computer) Also I try uninstalling the sound driver (it installed some Other driver that doesnt work) but ti would just hang my computer next boot up and I would just have to reformat...
Please help since I would need audio to do audio editing or just listen to music.
