I'm not really up on celeron D's for sure, but from the looks at newegg, the 2.93Ghz model is a socket 478 chip, so yes it should work fine.

yeah that should work, but why a mobo with SIS chipset? why not VIA or Nforce?

I'm guessing hes looking for a budget board. Myself I'm generally a fan of the intel chipsets for pentiums, and nforce boards for AMD.

yea, I just blew $500 yesterday on new case, mobo(that didn't work) HD, GFX and sound cards)
