    Hi asll..ew to the forum.. And was just wondering if all of these things were compatible with each other, and if there were any cheaper/better ones with about the same features I could get.. On a slightly lower budget but if there isnt any cheaper/better ones.. These will do.. Thanks everyone for your help.

    basically play a few games.. not a hardcore gamist.. you know 20 min of play here and there.. probably not even every day just a couple times a week.. mess around on the internet, solitaire, instant messengers.. all the kind of stuff.. basically little of everything.. but not a harcore gamer.. if you know what i mean. thank you guys./

    oh.. and i record lots of ps2 and xbox games plus dvd movies. and i think thats it lol.

    No these won't work together. The cpu is socket 775 and the board is socket 478.
    Most people here would recommend an AMD cpu and compatible board. More bang for your $$.

    then could you please tell me a good cpu to use with that motherboard and or vice versa.. thanks.

    or if there is a better/cheaper amd cpu and motherboard.. id go for that too.. thanks for the help.

    , could yall tell m ethe difference in 400 mhz, 533 mhz, and 800 mhz I keep seeing when looking about cpu's? and how it will affect my computer...

    And also the difference with intel celeron and pentium 4.. sorry for so many questions... Thanks. It would help.
