That board says it has 2x 184pin DDR but the board i have now says its 4 x 240-pin, is there a conflict there? also the FSB for the cpu on that board says 1066/800 while my CPU has a 533 mhz FSB, will that pose a problem? The FSB on my current mobo says its 800mhz in the user manual so maybe it is compatible, any thoughts? What if I want the memory to be upgradeable to 4 gigs, im almost thinkin bout buying new RAM just so i can have the Asus P5LD2 board. |

| If you have DDR RAM it the computer then it'll work... Make sure it's DDR not DDR2... If it DDR2 stick with the MoBo I suggested iniatially....
Also, Windows can only take advantage of 3GB.... anything above 3GB is a waste of money... IMO... |

yea, i didnt see i posted wrong, it is DDR2, sorry for the miscom. Anyway, yea im def. leanin towards that, okay so my question was this, the RAM in my PC right now is 400mhz DDR2 and the mobo says that its DDR2 standard is 667/533, will my 512MB of 400mhzDDR2 ram run on that board then? The board i have now is 533/400 supported, anyway what do you think? |

Umm... here's the MoBo - it's the Asus P5LD2-VM
The one I linked to originally was the Asus P5LD2.... so they're very simillar 90% identical I'd say....
EDIT: Also, check this I'd say it's a good MoBo (P5LD2) -- though the one in the article is the deluxe version the differences are likely to be minor...
