Need help

I am building my first p.c and I am using this motherboard
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...Tab=2&NoMapp=0

and I am trying to use this case
Ultra Microfly micro atx case

I was looking at the connections on the back of the mobo and I saw that the audio in-out jacks were going vertially up and down

like this
(ignore the text, 7th picture down)

and that the cases motherboard tray has the audio jacks and other usb and firewire inputs in a different configeration than shown on the back of the case

I am afraid that this could spring up to become a compatibliy issue, sure the motherboard fits, but I can't connect it to anything because the case is blocking all the ports!

So is this a major issue? do i need to find another case?

first off if you haven't already bought the board I'd go to newgg the board is cheaper before ever shopping tiger direct

second thats just the I/O shield they are removable and the new one should come with the new board

edit: you can also get the case cheaper

well not sure what vendor you are going with but I'd be saving $40 and much more respected vendors

Ultra has 1 review??
TigerDirect is not very highly thought of

Welcome to TechIMO.

Go with newegg.com
They have best prices without MIR(mail in rebates) most the time, and have the fastest shipping, as well as one of the most selection wise.

Tip for getting the case: Dont use a power supply that comes with a case. Generic power supplies are usually not good. If you need some suggestions on any components that you are buying, feel free to ask

Newegg is far better than Tiger Direct.

As for the problem, all you need to do is remove the IO Shield from the case, and replace it with the IO Shield that comes with the Motherboard. Not a problem at all

Welocme to Techimo.
