OK i got the above named system and here is my problem the Cmos is password protected and there is no cmos jumper i can find: the specs are as follows:
it has a amd 233 chip, 128 of ram tht only counts to 95 and 3 or 4 other numbers the mother board is green has a intel chip on it along with a S3 for the onboard video and a crystal chip for sound also a SMC chip..
If anyone knows how to clear the CMOS that is all i need it seems to be working fine other than that:
Hope someone can help me cause i will make this MB out of fizbee |

For the older computers you just take the cmos battery out, place it on some metal and put it back in. It should reset the cmos to default |

Try leaving the Battery out for an hour or so in case the BIOS holds a charge for a while after the battery is removed. I don't know if this can happen, but I have heard many people say it dose. If there are capacitors in the circute it will.
Ground. What is "place it on some metal" about? |
