Even the 939 platform rarely had AGP available as a "legacy" slot...
Beyond that, AGP is now dead...
PCI-E cards are generally cheaper and AGP cards topped out awhile back...
If you want to go AM@ you will need a nearly all new setup, drives are about the only things you will be able to bring over with a new build...

-------------------------------------------
Sorry it was late, and my spell check doesnt catch leaving out the "E" When I try to type PCI-E

(for the record I'm editing my original post so as NOT to add to the crapping now going on)
Wera's posts are a perfect example of self policing, and having to gain or lose the communities respect through post content

AGP is becoming rare in newer platorms. PCI-X era now. i suggest you sell or donate your AGP card and get a good PCI-X card.

PCI Express is not abbreviated PCI-X, I thought I had just said that.

And no, you cannot "invent" that abbreviation, simply because it is already being used for an entirely different technology.

http://www.pcisig.com/specifications/pcix_20/

"PCIe" is the correct abbreviation.

Lesson endeth.

The x1 are white. The x4 is the smaller black slot. There are 2 x16 slots, blue and black. The is either for a) SLI (x8 x x8) or b) non-SLI (the blue runs at x16 and the black runs at x1).
The x1 and x4 are designed to replace PCI, the large white slots.
BTW, that's a good motherboard.
