I downloaded the manual........here is a quote from it regarding the capacity per dimm

DDR2 667/533 DDR2 SDRAM with Dual-channel DDR2 architecture
• Accommodates four unbuffered DIMMs, 4 GB per DIMM with maximum
memory size up to 16 GB

The board supports up to four simultaneous monitors with two dual monitor video cards installed also.

Ah, yes, newegg says 16GB also...

Silly Tiger Direct.

Also, it is cheaper at newegg.

And it can definitely support more than 4 monitors.

Some vid cards alone support 4 monitors.

I don't know...
pc-infinity.com's website looks pretty bad (like a kid made it), I don't think I would buy anything from them.

Looking back at what you were offerred........it appears that you are processor speed motivated. That is fine. But I suggest you try to compare apples to apples.
The info you provided gives anyone attempting to help you very little to go on. A company that sells you a $275 processor is going to cut corners somewhere in a package deal with that final cost..... and may cut several in order to have any profit at all.
In my opinion. You should be looking for the best board possible first.....worth the money.

A great processor will be mediocre in a mediocre board in my opinion.
In reverse.........a great board will make a mediocre processor work to its fullest potential.
For this reason, I like to build from the board out when I am building a personal PC.

and all the other items listed.......could be off brand for all we know.

I would stay with the build. If you are going to do any type of gaming I would stay away from onboard video. There are a lot of products out there that you could build a good system for around the same price as the pre built if not less. Hang in there, once you decide on the mother board and processor it is smooth sailing, for the most part.

Mother board:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131072

CPU:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103749

Memory:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227126

Video Card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130062

Power Suppy:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103940

DVDRW:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827151133

This only comes to about 530-550 with tax and shipping maybe 600. I think that you said you got a 500GB hard drive for christmas or something so thats why i didn't put one in. I think this is a decent machine that would fulfil anything you needed to do with it. Please anyone correct me if I am wrong.

Good luck.
