When you turn on the PC are any fans starting up? Are any fans not starting up?
Are you hearing the BIOS beep or a series of beeps?
What are the details on the problem, such as it's a new system & has never worked, I've added new parts & it quit, or it just wouldn't start one day. |

Make sure you have a little speaker connected to the mobo so you can hear beeps. A single beep means the mobo passed POST (power on self test), a series of beeps can mean a bad video card, bad memory, etc. No beeps can mean either the motherboard or PSU (power supply unit) have failed.
Is this a new build or have you had it a while?
Is the northbridge fan working too? That's the little heatsink/fan below the CPU.
Double check all the power connectors in the case. Try removing your video card & turning on the PC. You should get a "video bad or missing" beep code. You can do the same test with the ram.
After reinstalling the video & ram, reset the CMOS & see what happens.
(reset the CMOS by turning off & unplugging from the wall. Move the Clr_CMOS jumper from normal to clear, wait 5-10 mins, then move it back. Plug PSU back in & turn the power on.)
Let us know how it goes, the more info you provide the better change we have helping you figure out what's going on. |

Hi,
I have a revision 1.0 of this same mainboard and exactly the same scenario has happened to me, no beeps or anything. I have pulled out the memory, disconnected all hard drives, replaced the power supply, reset the bios via pulling out the battery, resat the processor and still nothing. Any suggestions appreciated........ |

Make sure all power connections are plugged in (20 pin, 4 pin). Disconnect everything except the monitor and one memory stick. If you have two sticks, alternate them in case one is bad. |
