I just got a core 2 duo e6600 as a gift which was really awesome, but now its time to actually build the rest instead of looking at the box just sitting by my monitor.
I have been reading tons on motherboards and seeing a lot of great overclocking motherboards, which is what i intend to do with my c2d. I loved the evga 680i until i saw the price tag at 250 bucks. Found other great reviews with a not so much lower price tag on the motherboard. I was looking to spend 100-150 on a motherboard with SLI. I'm not sure if thats possible, but i wouldn't mind spending a little more. THe 200 price mark and lower seems more likely....
Please give me some advice on some great motherboards. THanks.
If you could also reccomend a video card that isn't too expensive because i want to get a dx10 card when they become more affordable.
And one last thing, a solid case under 75 bucks would be great...
any other reccomendations on hard drives, memory, etc. would be grateful as well, thank you!
