ECS K7S5A and DDR ram question.

Thanks for reading, recently I got an ECS K7S5A mother board, and I want to replace the current 128mb SDRAM with something bigger and badder. I wanted to migrate over to the 512mb DDR ram options, and I wanted the best on the market currently. Question though, is the ECS K7S5A compatible with PC2700 ram?

I've seen reviews saying its compatible with 250mhz DDR ram, but I can get a stick of 512mb 333mhz DDR ram for $220 Canadian, what do you guys think?

Quote from the manual, page 2:
"Supports DDR up to 266 Mhz memory bus."

Yes I gathered that, but that was done at the time when 266 was what was available. I was curious if anyone had tested, or had seen a review of trying 333mhz, and if it worked? Or is it possible for it to work?

The DDR333 (PC2700) should work in the board fine, but it will only run at DDR266 (PC2100) speeds unless you are overclocking the FSB.
