Help! Best AM2 Motherboard for around $150 or less.

First off, I'm pretty high in the technical range, and im not rich. So whatever I can afford you probably can.

Second, here is my system:

_ AMD Anthlon X2 6400+ Black Edition
_ XFX GeForce 9600 GT
_ Hitachi Sata 3.0 320 Gig
_ Ultra Xfinity 600 Watt SLI Ready
_ OCZ Platinum Rev2 800Mhz Dual channel 2 Gig
_ Sound Blaster Audigy SE

My System boots up in about 10 sec, from power on.
Right now, I am playing Crysis on medium settings, at a res of 1440*800, with an average of 45-60 fps(I can put it on ultra high, but the res has to go down a lot, with same fps rates), I am playing BF2 at 100 fps maxed settings, along with CNC3 Kanes Wrath maxed, and Unreal Tournament 3 maxed.

So, if your looking for a good board, at a low price, I would go with an ASUS M2N series(or newer M3N) BUT----- I must warn you, the reason I have a lot end sound card is because ASUS sound is horible. It is ok for Itunes, but not for gaming. It goes out buzzing, a know problem. but other then that it is a great board. I build computers for fun, and I hate sending loads of money when you really don't need to.

nice that your willing to help, but gotta really keep an eye out for the ages of some of these threads, some of the older ones, depending on what the topic is, can be still helpful, but threads like this one, looking for advice or suggestions for builds or whatever from a year or more ago, are kind of pointless to post to.


check some of the newer more recent posts & see if you can help in those, better chance of someone still being able to be helped with those when it comes to topics like this one.
