Why AM2? If you can, you should try to get an LGA 775 board and a Core 2 Duo.

I just ordered a Asus M2N32-SLI deluxe wifi board for a setup I'm building for a friend. I have to say I'm impressed with the board. It has a good layout, lots of options, great overclock ability. All in all, it's a bad a#% board, that I want for myself now...
I would go with the asus board... |

Thanks for the suggestion. Other than those two, are there any others anyone would recommend? |

Are there any features you are specifically looking for?
Best, in what sense?
IMO, the best motherboard is the cheapest motherboard that fulfills all of your needs and exspectations. |

I'm looking for SLI, fast, reliable, solid, powerful, and can run current and next gen games. |

You're saying that you're upgrading your motherboard and processor, looking for SLI and future gaming performance? If so, then AM2 is definately not what you want to do. LGA 775 Core 2 Duo is best for gaming, unless you are on a small budget, but since you mare doing SLI, it's probably enough. |
