| asus bios flash on vista 64 bit?
Ok so i recently built a new computer and upgraded to vista 64bit. My mother board is an asus m2n32 deluxe (original non vista version) and i assume i would want to flash bios to support new things in vista, but when i download the flash utility, it says it can't run on 64bit OS. I cant seem to find any other flash utilities, and i don't have a floppy drive to do it through the bios. Anyone else have this problem and know of a solution? googling the question sure didn't help.
thanks,
Marc |

Wrong....
Most BIOS updates will tell you what it fixed...If you aren't having any issues with the items listed, its best to Not update.

If you have an issue and the site with the BIOS updates says it'll fix the issue - then yes. Updating would be a good thing |

BIOS flash and the operating system are two different things.
Technically, you can flash the bios on a system without a hard drive. |

i understand they are different, but to update my motherboard bios, i have to use a flash program, this program will not run on 64 bit OS. I am looking for a flash utility program that will update my motherboard bios that runs in 64 bit. |

"Most" flash utilities run off a bootable floppy disk. The operating system does not come into play. |
