680i vs 750i

I've been doing a lot of looking around, and even though I can find some here or there, I have not been able to find a lot of information about the 750i chipset. Most of the time info is bundled as 780/750i. I do not think I will ever need the triple SLI that is available in the 780, so I've been interested in this 750 model.

The question I have is what the differences are between the 680 and the 750. I haven't been able to find a single article comparing the two, is it that new or am I missing something obvious?

Thanks.

not sure of all the specifics, but one of the biggest is, the newer one supports & uses the newer PCI Express 2.0 standard, versus the old 1.1.

Pretty sure the new one also better supports new & upcoming CPU's with higher FSB ratings etc etc, the usual new support features.

I know there's more, but I think one of the biggest is the new PCIE 2.0 standard.
