I have and Ipod nano 3rd generation. When i plug it in, I cant get it to be recognized. The computer just says "Unknown USB device" I think the problem has something to do with there not being enough power at the USB port. Anyone know how to turn this up??

Seems many people are having problems with the Nano not being recognized. Its not your laptop/USB.
But definetly try different USB ports. Reinstall Apple USB Driver. Unconnect all other USB components. AND put the Ipod into Disk Mode.

I find that switching the hold switch from on to off and then holding the center and menu button at the same time (a soft reset) fixes it
