computer freezing constantly

my computer began freezing constantly recently (to the point where i can't even move the mouse pointer on the screen and have to hit the reset button on the computer case) and i discovered that the memory modules aren't always being recognized during POST after i have tried reseating them (and they are being reseated properly).. i bought new modules (same type and speed) but i had the same issue.. i'm wondering if this would be an indication of the memory slots having an issue- i tried clearing out the slots with compressed air but that didn't help.

any ideas?

thanks.

Hello, welsome to TechIMO,
The best thing to do is do some troubbleshooting of yourself, try using the bare minimum of hardware, changing which modules you use, and things like that...
Have you tried seeing what your system temperatures?
How long untill the system crashes?
Did you recently change any of your hardware?
