GigaByte ep45-ds3p RAID configuration. HELP.

Hello good people.

I just built a new machine for graphic work with the following configuration:

cpu: q6600
Mobo: ep45-ds3p
GPU: ATI hd3870 512
HDD: 1x250g and 2x400g seagate

I am trying to create the following HDD configuration:
WIN 60bit OS on the single 250G HDD
RAID-0 on the two 400g HDD (will be used as scratch disk for graphic apps)

I changed the SATA handling in the BIOS to RAID and it seems to grab all of my HDD's without allowing to treat my 250G as a single drive

Does this mother board supports a mix of RAID and non-RAID sata-HDD? How do I configure my machine to do so?

Please help, I am achine to install this render machine and start working (+overclocking it

thanks,
Guetta.

Raid Help

You cant have a mix of raid hd's, you would need to work out what you need the raid for ie, RAID 0 for better speeds or RAID 1 in a mirrored config, the board will support raid 5 and 10 so you need to work out what raid config is best suited,

The type, or form factor, of the motherboard is a crucial consideration when looking at a motherboard. There are various types of form factors and not all computer cases can accommodate each form factor. Today, the most commonly found and used motherboard is the ATX motherboard. When looking at the motherboard, ensure that the computer case can use this type of motherboard. Additional information and help with the form factors can be found on our motherboard page

When looking at who to purchase a motherboard through, consider all different brands of motherboards and vendors who sell those motherboards, as all motherboards will have positive and negative reviews. A listing of motherboard links and manufacturers can be found on the motherboard of your system.
