It could be the RAM. Does it give any error messages or beep codes or anything when it boots up? |

no i get nothing at all. Bios nothing at all. I could see on one mobo not getting the bios or anything, but two. The first board i did notice some things looking out of wack. THe capacitors i think i read someone calling them. A couple of the tops of them were bubled out. See here is the thing, would you get the bios to load on a mobo if the cpu is bad. I am thinking that maybe my first cpu was going bad, and the one I bought off ebay for 3 bucks was bad too. that would make since for the second mobo not working. DOes that make since too you as well. If so i will just try another cpu and go from their. thanks for the input. |

The caps would be bad on the mobo.
It could be a bad CPU, also try a different Power Supply. |

I believe a BIOS will load up with a bad/dead/gone CPU, but it will not load without any memory. Also, it won't load without power, so if the caps are dead then it wouldn't load up either. |

I have tried two different power supply's and three different sticks of ram. When i power up with either power supply the fans kick on and all that. Also I am haveing the same prob with another motherboard. One that i had tried to work with a few years back. It worked and all i just decided to go back to the original mobo for some reasone. I tried all three sticks of ram one at a time in slot one for the ram. and also tried all three in at same times in different positions. thanks again. |
