DFI: simple keyboard shortcut quesiton... - Tech Support Forums

When the PC is booting, what is the key board shortcut to get the boot menu (where I can then choose to boot from USB or alternative HDD)?

It's always been F8 on my ASUS boards and I can't find it skimming the manual where I would expect to find it.

Delete perhaps?
It should say "press (which, eg delete) key to enter BIOS" or also might say setup instead of BIOS.

Many motherboards don't support "on the fly" boot selection.

BiPolar - I think u might be right - weird - even my laptop and Dell dual Xeon workstation have this (and every ASUS board for the last 8yrs at least), but there's nothing on the DFI

#43 - "Del" - is for setup - I'm wanting the boot menu... the one where u just get a list of boot hardware*.

*I run a "slightly risky" three-disk RAID0 config: 3 x 320Gb... which is then setup as a 50Gb partition up front for the OS and most programs (only 6Gb, excl 3.5Gb for hybernation and 4Gb swapfile) and a another 875Gb as general "junk"... then periodically I boot to a fourth (old 40Gb SATA), which is running win98/DOS and I use to take a Ghost image clone of my main OS partition - I can switch to this in the BIOS and then switch it back using the boot priority... but would rather do it with the boot menu.
