laptop bios problem

hello, I just installed a new bios version on my aspire3100 laptop and that turned out to be a misstake.. I would like to restore the original bios version but I don't know how because when I try to flash an older verion the system freezes. the problem with this new version is that it's impossible to reboot the computer because it freezes when it's about to restart. what to do?

well depending how old this is i would honestly contact acer, they have great support and if it is under warranty they usually cover this. We had a person put a password on their bios and forgot it, they sent it in and acer wiped it for them.

fixed it by installing latest service pack and net framework. but one small problem remains, my battery doesn't charge at all, any suggestions?
