Which board should i use

I have 3 boards that i have killed through massive overclocking and i was wondering which one i should RMA first to rebuild my Intel setup.

EVGA 680i
Newegg.com - EVGA 122-CK-NF68-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

Asus P5K-E/Wifi-App
Newegg.com - Open Box: ASUS P5K-E/WIFI-AP LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard

Abit IP35-Pro
Newegg.com - ABIT IP35 Pro XE LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

I will again be doing heavy overclocking but not to the scale i once did.

I'd probably do one of the P35 boards If SLI is not in the equation... but with the 680i board, guessing harder to come by, might be able to do that see if they'll send you a 750/780 board instead, or credit on one.

I've seen many 650i's still available, but could be overstock from when they were made, haven't seen too many 680i's, which is kind of why I was thinking that.

with the 750/780/790 series out now/for awhile, willing to bet the 6xx series isn't anymore, but its possible they could be still made, but doubt it.

Well i plan on doing crossfire, so going to end up with one of the P35 boards to tide me over, but will probably be looking at a whole new board. I was wondering if there was any true 16x by 16x crossfire boards that support the penryn processors with DDR2 (DDR3 if absolutely necessary).

First off, For OC ability, you'll get about the same clock out of the 680 and the P35. My 680i does a little better then my P35 actually.
Next, for a crossfire setup, you should go for a x38/x48 board. Those are the best performing chipset under crossfire.

Third, they are not making the 680i's anymore, but you can still buy them at most etailers.
If you RMA that EVGA board, you will get the A2 version back, which is what I'm running my Quad on. Look in my sig..
