Topic: I have a client with a Biostar Tseries AM2+ motherboard, and every optical drive i install, gives me "ATAPI incompatible" error. Can any of you guys help me out with this? It's urgent. Thanks...

Motherboard Issues

I have a client with a Biostar Tseries AM2+ motherboard, and every optical drive i install, gives me "ATAPI incompatible" error.

Did you google "ATAPI incompatible" and see all of the hits?

I have tried but none of the sollutions i get helps, I have tried different drives, SATA and IDE, never made a difference.

Thanks for your help in any case. I'll keep trying

OK, that helped but now the drive only reads one disk, any other disks don't work
