Topic: Ok so ATI said my lockups are due to outdated motherboard drivers and I need to update them. Thing is I haven't a clue what I am doing. I tried to go to the Asus website but it keeps timing out. Any help is appreciated....

Problem with lockups

Ok so ATI said my lockups are due to outdated motherboard drivers and I need to update them. Thing is I haven't a clue what I am doing. I tried to go to the Asus website but it keeps timing out. Any help is appreciated.

Have you checked your temps, high temps can lead to lockups.
Added anything new lately? New parts, new software ect?

only thing i did was update the ATI video graphics drivers. Thats it nothing else..and the temp on the computer seems fine. We did add a second monitor would that cause the problem?
