MSI board replacement question
Okay I am good with computers and not great like you guys. I have this computer, 875P NEO-LSR (MS-6758-010) motherboard, 1 gig of kingston ram, radeon 9800 Pro 128 MB, audigy 2 pro, intel 2.something processor. Basically my motherboard died and I want to be able to replace my motherboard. I looked for the same motherboard on ebay and on net with no success. My question is what is another mother board that will allow me to use my old video card and sound card. Not a big deal if I have to buy different ram or a processor. This will not be really used for my main computer so I dont really wanna upgrade all of the stuff. Thank you in advanced for your help!

Old Vs New MSI board Question
Hello all, Okay I am new at this so thank you for all the help! I have a 875P NEO-LSR (MS-6758-010) 478 socket mother board. Sadly it died on me and I would love to be able to just replace it. However being 5 years old I can not find the exact same one. However I did find this one one ebay and was wondering how different these 2 boards are. Will the one on ebay be able to hold my Radeon 9800 pro and audigy 2 card.? Please help and thank you for your help ahead of time!

Yes, your 9800 PRO and Audigy 2 should be very happy on that motherboard.

Thank you Atomic Rooster! One last question. The one on ebay says it is a server board, is that going to make a difference when using it?

Any 875P-based motherboard would work.
875p motherboard, Computers Networking items on eBay.com
Just be sure that you get one with an AGP video slot.MCSE, MCP and nut job

It's nice with the RAM included but it doesn't have an AGP slot - it's PCI-E.
Better:

In this case, everything. You cannot use PCIe cards, period.
If you would like to know the technicalities, try Wikipedia.MCSE, MCP and nut job
