please help monitor stays in standby mode after failing to install bios

i burned the asus bios of my mother board on a cd and booted from it
started to install the bios
and then i found an error and it was trying to access A:/
so i did a dumb act by restarting the computer
and then the computer wouldnt boot again
and the monitor stays in standby mode when i press power button
while the fan and the harddrives seem to work
any ideas pleasseee help

Flashing the bios is very risky if it loses power in the process it will corrupt it.

Its sounds like you have corrupted the bios when you cut the power (restart), hence why it is not booting. I think you have a dead board on your hands, I would contact ASUS and see what they can do. Best wait for others opinions of whether or not this is reversable but AFAIK it is not.

Well you can wait for other members opinions, im not 100% sure (about 90%) that the board will be dead and I dont think there is anything you can do.
