mobo Q>MSI K9A2 Platinum AMD 790FX
hi im back w/ another upgrade, im planning to buy this mobo in a very good price to my cousinMSI K9A2 Platinum Review - Page 1 - Introduction im plannign to also upgrade my processor from a 7750 KUMA to a phenom II 720 BE, is this a good mobo for my procie? im also crossfiring two palit hd4879 1gb g.cards. am i good with this mobo or should i buy a 790gx mobo(w/c is out of my budget)

Its difficult to say if the mobo is good for the price as you have'nt said how much its costing you.

The PII 720 is a good cpu especially if you overclock it. I believe that mobo is good enough for your needs.

my cousin is selling me this mobo for 4000 pesos or about 80 US$ and it's really cheap compared to the one's sold in the shops here in the philippines.
good to know its good for the processor, how bout for crossfiring? i have two palit hd4870 1gb and im planning to crossfire it. im having second thought with this mobo on crossfire mode, i dun want to waste the money i spent for the gcards hekhek

Yes the mobo should be good for two way crossfire it runs both pi-e x16 slots at x16 if its cheap and it works you should definately go for it.

i ended up buying a different board which is the Biostar TA790gx 128mb sideport.. is this mobo any good?

They make good products. As of lately, Biostar has been producing very good overclocking motherboards.

I would say to scrap it and start again, without even looking at it. Time to get a local web designer to throw a few ideas at the boss, and see what you really need from a website.
