pc won't start
I have a striker extreme motherboard..and ;yesterday..turned on pc and all was fine..haven't started it in months had it in storage..while today..started it up..and nothing..lights go on..but when I hit the the start button, nothing happens..psu seems fine..blue lights on panel goes on but that's it..checked all the plugs and switches..all seem in order..puzzled..could it be my switch from the atx case..might have gone out?..here is my motherboard:http://www.newegg.com/Producthttp://...813131074..and here is my atx case: hopefully someone had simular problems and can help me out..thanks

June 18th, 2009, 06:40 AM #2Was it in a tempature controlled enviroment or was it subjected to humidity etc?had it in storage
I'd suspect the power supply is failing.Imagine a world where dogs took bad owners to the pound...

no..all hardware is fine..took it in and had it diagnosed. they told me that they took the battery out..set it back in ;and it started..checked all my hardware , set my bios to default, started , turned it off..turned it back on..no problems..all came out ok..but brought it home..3 miles..and pushed start button..nothing same problem..led lights come on.but won't power up..frrustating....? any solutions?

Have you checked all connections as im thinking the ride home may have knocked something out. Did you see it running when you took it in or did you take their word for it?
