It turns out something was wrong with the driver for the graphics card. Liam saw a question mark somewhere, I wrote the company with our problem, they sent us a link for a different driver and the whole thing works now.
We are completely done with his first build. It plays/does everything he wanted as fast as he wanted.....
As a noob, I did not realize all the drivers and programs loading that needed to be done with a new build. We learned quite a bit! through trial and error, the best way....
